Hospice Savannah Thrift Shoppe

Our Thrift Shoppe will open in April and will feature a variety of items, including clothing, accessories, furniture, housewares and more. Community  members have a place to donate and shoppers have a place to find great deals while supporting our programming! Follow us on Facebook (LINK coming) to see our constantly changing inventory of donated treasures.

Hours: Tuesday through Saturday. 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Location: Fortune Plaza, 329 US 80 in Pooler.

Making a Donation

Donations will be accepted at the Shoppe once opened. In the meantime, please drop off at our Administrative Office’s warehouse – located at 1674 Chatham Parkway in Savannah. A volunteer is available to help you unload each Thursday in March between 9:00 and noon. Unfortunately, we cannot pick up items at this time.

We are happy to accept items that are clean and in good repair but cannot accept furniture in poor condition; weapons or ammunition; floor model organs or pianos; safety helmets; medical equipment and medications; oxygen tanks; machinery that uses gas; hazardous chemicals, paint, solvents or cleaners; tube-type TV’s; mattresses, box springs and bed frames if not part of a set; large appliances; items needing repair or items on the Consumer Product Safety Recall list.

Becoming a Thrift Shoppe volunteer

Please click here to complete a short on-line application and our store manager will be in contact shortly.

Do you love to meet people? Do you enjoy shopping for bargains? Are you  a “handy man” who enjoys making minor repairs to electronics or furniture? Please consider joining us in this exciting new venture to support Hospice Savannah! Volunteers assist in a variety of ways including sorting and tagging donations and serving customers on the sales floor.  Volunteers provide coverage for a four-hour shift: either 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m or 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. We rely on them to create a warm and helpful environment and thank them for helping us to generate income to provide additional services to our patients and community.
