Designating Your Donation

You can designate your monetary donation towards our Unrestricted Operational Fund or towards one of our Endowment Funds.  We have outlined the difference between these to funds:

Unrestricted Operational Fund:  These funds are flexible enough to be used where they are most needed at any time.  These funds may be used to assist in operational costs.  All undesignated contributions to our organization go into this fund. 

Endowment Funds:  An endowment fund is a permanent investment in the future where the principal of the contribution is held in perpetuity while the income or interest from the principal is used for  purposes outlined for a particular endowment fund.  For your reference, we have included a list of our Endowment Funds and outlined the purposes for the particular endowment fund.  Some Endowment Funds have Named Funds within them.  If you are interested in creating a Named Fund within one of our Endowment Funds it requires a minimum donation of $25,000 that can be given at one time or over a certain time period.  For more information, contact our Development Department at (912) 629-1055 or via email at development@hospicesavannah.org.
