pet peace of mind

Our Pet Peace of Mind® program helps Hospice Savannah families stay together.

For over three decades we have been caring for patients and their loved ones in the counties of the Coastal Empire, and now we extend that care to our patients’ beloved pets.

Specially trained volunteers can provide pet food and cat litter; pet walking; routine veterinary care and transportation; grooming and transportation; transportation to nursing facilities to visit owners; foster care; and assistance with finding a “forever home” if the family cannot keep the pet after the patient’s death. Click here to read a story about our program, or, Click here to see a powerful video.

We are grateful to the many local groomers and veterinarians who support us, including Case Veterinary Hospital and Allison Animal Care.
