Elizabeth Brodhead, LMSW

Elizabeth Brodhead is a Bereavement Counselor at Hospice Savannah’s Full Circle Grief and Loss Center where she has been on staff for the past 3 years. Her work includes one-on-one supportive bereavement counseling, as well as facilitating grief support groups for adults and children. Additionally, Elizabeth engages in legacy work in her role as Hospice Savannah’s Story Keeper, capturing audio recordings of patient’s life stories.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Georgia as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work from Savannah State University. Elizabeth has additional training in providing support that is trauma-informed.

Elizabeth can provide individual and/or group counseling sessions. She will help provide tools to live with loss after the death of a loved one. The Edel Employee Assistance Program offers up to four face-to-face sessions per incident. Phone sessions are available upon request. Back to home page.

Services are available for employees and immediate family members. All counseling services are completely confidential. There is no need for you to tell anyone, ask permission, or go through Human Resources to find help. Confidentiality in the EAP will be maintained within the rules established by federal and state law and professional ethical standards. Disclosure of information shared by the employee to any source without the prior written consent of that employee is prohibited. This means that the fact that an employee has consulted with EAP, as well the details of the conversation, are usually protected against disclosure.
