Caregiver Anticipatory Grief Support Group Online (Pre-Registration Required)

06.15.2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

In return you will be sent a link and information on how to join our online support group.

What is Anticipatory Grief and Ambiguous Loss?
How does it impact me as a caregiver and does my loved one experience it?

The Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) defines these terms as:
* “Anticipatory grief is the emotional pain and sadness that arises in advance of an expectant loss or death.”
* “Ambiguous loss is the confusing feeling of interacting with someone who is not fully present mentally or socially, as often happens to family caregivers who are closely involved with a person living with dementia.”
Through the month of June, you are invited to fellowship with other caregivers sharing your concerns, struggles, and questions.
Please contact Elizabeth Brodhead at EBrodhead@HospiceSavannah.org or call her directly at 912-629-1069 with any questions or concerns.
