Savannah Power Yoga Fundraiser for ECI at Frank G. Murray Community Center

Taking care of others requires patience, stamina, and inner strength. If you are a caregiver, you know this. Hospice Savannah’s Edel Caregiver Institute knows this too and that is why they have a dedicated group of people and services to support family caregivers in our community. Services offered include assistance with finding resources, education, and providing emotional support through caregiver support groups and individual consultations.

Savannah Power Yoga is hosting their annual fundraiser to benefit the Edel Caregiver Institute and help continue providing these invaluable services to family caregivers at no charge. Donations may be made online or onsite. Join Jennifer Roelle for an accessible Chair-based yoga class suitable for all levels. All funds raised from this event will benefit Hospice Savannah’s Edel Caregiver Institute.

The Edel Caregiver Institute will also be hosting Dementia Live® sessions throughout the day. This interactive, hands-on, virtual experience will enlighten the caregiver with a deeper understanding and greater empathy for their loved one living with dementia. You will be empowered with new tools and techniques to improve communications, care processes and tips to make dementia friendly changes to your home.
