There are many ways you, your organization, your civic group or congregation can help Hospice Savannah!

Make a donation, host a fundraising event, pass the hat, or designate your congregation’s collection plate to help Hospice Savannah care for indigent patients and provide special services like music and massage therapy, Pet Peace of Mind, veterans’ services, caregiver support, and grief counseling that are not covered by insurance or Medicare. All these – and so much more – are possible only through the generous support of our community.

Host a snacks & beverages drive for the Hospice Inpatient Unit (HIPU) Family Kitchen
Family members keeping bedside vigil are often unable to go home or out for meals.
We are grateful for donations of individually-wrapped snacks and food items (Little Debbie’s, granola bars, chips, crackers, single serving/microwaveable meals like Easy Mac), and beverages (boxes of tea, bottled water, juice boxes, instant beverages such as cocoa, Crystal Light, etc., and canned sodas and juice).

Collect “cozy and comfortable” clothing and blankets for Homecare patients
Our Homecare patients are always in need of comfy pajamas, slipper socks with no-slip bottoms, jogging suits, and slippers in adult men’s and women’s sizes, as well as blankets, lap blankets and shawls, and small picture frames for keeping photos of loved ones nearby. Hospital gowns and extra-large twin bed sheets for hospital beds also help Homecare patients stay comfortable at home.

Help us tell others about our services.
Our community outreach staff would be delighted to talk to your group about hospice or palliative care, advance directives, grief counseling and bereavement support, caregiver education and training, and more.

To help, please contact the Hospice Savannah Foundation at (912) 629-1055 or by email at hsfoundation@hospicesavannah.org Thank you for making a difference each and every day in the lives of our patients and their families.
