SUPPORT GROUPS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Spouse/Life Partner Support Group: A weekly opportunity to be with others who are on the unique journey of grief because their life mate has died. “Who am I apart from my spouse?’ “How do I navigate all of the legal matters?” “I don’t think my friends understand this loss.” Meets Thursday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
Grief 101: A seven-week, adult educational group offering support and tools for learning to live with loss. Meets Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Call 912.303.9442 to register for next session. Adult Grief 101 is provided due to generous funding from Baker McCullough Funeral Home and Cremation.
Kid’s Grief 101: A seven-week structured educational/support group for children ages 6-17. Offers support and coping tools, utilizing play and activity in learning to live with loss. Meets Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Call 912.303.9442 to register for next session. This group is provided due to generous funding from Southern Motors.
S.O.S. (Survivors of Suicide) Support Group: A support group for those whose loved ones have died by suicide. Meets the first Thursday of each month at Full Circle from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This group is provided due to generous funding from Nancy and Carlton Sheets.

Camp Aloha Children’s Grief Camp: A weekend camp designed to help children ages 6 through 17 deal with loss is held at Camp Ebenezer over the first weekend of May. Pre-registration is required. Camp Aloha is provided due to generous funding from Southern Motors.
Additionally, Full Circle regularly offers Memorial Gatherings to honor and remember your loved ones. The last Memorial Gathering of the year is a Tree of Light ceremony and fundraiser – this year it will be Sunday, December 5, 2021.
In 2022, we plan to continue to both hold in-person gatherings with them also streamed virtually. The services are held at the Demere Center for Living in the Jepson/Steward Room and begin at 5:00pm. The dates for 2022 (all on Sundays) are as follows: February 6, April 3, June 5, August 7, October 2, and December 4 will be the annual Tree of Light ceremony and fundraiser.
And finally, Full Circle also has an office in Effingham County. Bereavement Counselor, Barbara Moss, MSW, holds office hours each Monday at the United Way’s Effingham Service Center, located at 711 Zitterour Drive in Rincon.
