One of the non-traditional ways we serve children is through Camp Aloha, an annual overnight grief camp for children and youth between the ages of 6 and 17, who have lost a loved one in the last 24 months prior to camp. Each May, trained volunteers and professionals come together to provide a weekend of therapeutic fun and group process to help children cope with the death of a loved one.
To find out about grief support for children and youth please contact Barbara Moss, Bereavement Counselor. Our next camp will be May 1-3, 2015. Click here to register a camper for our 2015 camp.
If you have questions about becoming a volunteer for Camp Aloha, please contact Holland Morgan, Bereavement Coordinator or click here to apply online as a volunteer.
