Often, the patients, family members, caregivers and bereaved we help thank us with a smile and a hug or by sending a note of gratitude. That’s how we know we are doing a good job and making a difference in our community!
Now, our Grateful Family Program provides you with another way to say thank you to a team member who went the extra mile for you or a loved one… You may have encountered a doctor, nurse, certified nursing assistant, chaplain, social worker, music or massage therapist, or a volunteer who brought you an extra measure of comfort and reassurance in your time of need. By making a gift in their honor, you will be making a tangible and meaningful impact on our ability to care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, and on our support for caregivers, the seriously ill and the bereaved.
When a gift is made, the person who you are honoring will be sent an acknowledgement letter and be presented with an “Honored Caregiver” pin. Your message of appreciation will be shared with our CEO and with the employee or volunteer’s supervisor. The gift amount will be kept confidential.
To participate in the Grateful Family Program, please donate here, or call our Foundation at 912.629.1055. Gifts specifically support upkeep and renovation of our community’s Hospice House so that hospice families may use if they need respite from caregiving, or if their loved one’s symptoms are too serious to be managed at home.
Your gift truly matters. Thank you for paying tribute to a caregiver who made a difference.
