This week I joined many of our employees and volunteers in marching in Savannah’s Martin Luther King Parade. The theme was “Dreamers are believers and believers become achievers.” I am so thankful for Hospice Savannah’s dreamers and believers – the founding volunteers who had the vision to bring this special kind of end of life care to our community back in the late 1970’s. Their legacy allows us to provide compassionate care to everyone in need – regardless of their religion, their income, or the color of their skin.
Thanks to them, and thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King.
