“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” Martin Luther King,  Jr.

Join me on Monday as we march in the Parade through downtown Savannah. I  always enjoy marching with my fellow Hospice Savannah employees and volunteers and admit to getting a bit teary-eyed when folks shout out their thanks and appreciation.  It is an honor to work for such a well respected and beloved community not-for-profit. We have been serving the Coastal Empire for 35 years. I am thankful that our founding volunteers  did not “look the other way” when they saw the need for hospice care in our community.
