Vice President of Clinical Services for Hospice Savannah

Deneice provides clinical leadership for Hospice Savannah, acting as our expert and advocate for high-quality, safe, and exceptional patient service.  She is responsible for all aspects of Homecare, After-Hours, Admissions, and HIPU, including the supervision of our clinical nursing services, quality, and infection control staff.

Deneice has been a registered nurse for more than 27 years. She earned her degree at Armstrong University and started her career at Memorial Hospital, before realizing that homecare was her passion and that she especially enjoyed working with the elderly.

Deneice has 9 years of experience working in home health care in a variety of positions, including: staff nursing, QAPI, Clinical Manager, Administrator, Multi-site Administrator, Marketing, and Marketing Director, and 15 years of experience working in hospice, which she considers her true passion.  Those years in hospice, she’s held roles in senior leadership in multiple states, including oversight of multiple business development streams.

Her strengths are team building, turning around under-performing offices to being leaders in quality service and financial stability, and building a work environment that includes productivity, quality care, and work satisfaction.

Deneice has been married for 35 years and has two adult children, a son and a daughter, as well as two adult step-sons.  She enjoys live music and spending time at the beach.
