Services are available for employees and immediate family members. All counseling services are completely confidential. There is no need for you to tell anyone, ask permission, or go through Human Resources to find help. Confidentiality in the EAP will be maintained within the rules established by federal and state law and professional ethical standards. Disclosure of information shared by the employee to any source without the prior written consent of that employee is prohibited. This means that the fact that an employee has consulted with EAP, as well the details of the conversation, are usually protected against disclosure.
