Sandy works with your personal physician to make sure you or your loved one receive the highest quality pain and symptom management.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, is a Certified Physician Executive, and holds a Masters of Medicine Management degree. She is the Founding Director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, and worked both as a hospice medical director and as a palliative medicine team inpatient consultant physician at UMMC and Southdale Hospital. Additionally, she has prior hospice and palliative experience in both Milwaukee, WI and Bakersfield, CA. More information available here.
