Hospice Savannah used to have a tag line for its advertising that read “Adding Life to Days”. Even though we don’t use that tagline much anymore, we certainly still believe it! It is a difficult time of year to make end-of-life decisions, but sometimes situations are thrust upon us and we need help…Even during the holidays, we can add life and meaning to patients’ lives.
Recently, our CEO’s mother died peacefully at Hospice Inpatient Unit (HIPU) under the wonderful care of our co-workers. Debra writes, “Mom was very peaceful from the day she arrived till the evening she went to join her son, husband and other family and friends. I have always known that Hospice Savannah was a special organization, but now that I have personally experienced the wonders of the work that each and everyone of you do, I am so proud to be a part of our Hospice Savannah family.”
So often we hear, “I wish we’d called you sooner.” Don’t let your friends and family members struggle in dealing with life-limiting illnesses. Let us help them add more life to their days by contacting us sooner. We are here to help.
